PACS, PACS, PACS . . . . Everyone is talking about PACS. Do any of the hospitals that your mobile imaging equipment service have PACS? Do you have to reconfigure the imaging equipment to send DICOM storage class images for each site? Do your customers want you to use DICOM Modality Work List? Would you like for your technologist to be able to configure PACS for each site vs. calling an engineer?

If your answer is yes to any of these, WorkDirector is the solution for you. The product will run on an existing Windows 2000 or XP workstation or pc that is onboard your mobile. The product is also available as a hardware appliance without the need of a keyboard/mouse.

The imaging equipment, PET/CT Scanner for example, is configured once by the engineer to send to a default PACS archive and several workstations. Modality Work List is configured once by the engineer.

WorkDirector can be configured by the technologist to support the LAN, local area network, configuration, DICOM storage class send destinations, and Modality Work List for each site. Once configured, the technologist just chooses the site location and all works.
